The SimCenter invites researchers to work closely with SimCenter staff and colleagues on their computational research through the on-site Visiting Scholars Program at UC Berkeley. The SimCenter is particularly interested in hosting researchers who require expanding, enhancing, or adapting the SimCenter’s research tools. These applications address basic and advanced modeling, analysis and simulation needs across Natural Hazards and directly incorporate Uncertainty Quantification (UQ).
Visiting Researcher Eligibility Criteria
How to Apply
For SimCenter Visiting Researcher inquiries email Associate Director Matt Schoettler. We strongly urge potential scholars to begin the inquiry process at least three months or more before the expected arrival date in Berkeley.
