Travel Assistance

Thank you for your interest. The window for requesting Travel Assistance has closed.

Through support of the National Science Foundation, travel assistance for academic attendees is available to offset the cost of participation. Early-career faculty, graduate students, and post-doctoral professionals who seek involvement in the natural hazards engineering research community are encouraged to apply.

Travel assistance will cover hotel accommodations at the Luskin Center (January 31 and February 1, only) and reimburse attendees for symposium fees, travel, and food up to $1,000, restrictions apply. There is a limited amount of travel assistance available.

We are especially interested in participants who are under-represented minorities, women, veterans, and those with research outcomes to share that were enabled by SimCenter tools.
