The paper "Community Perspectives on Simulation and Data Needs for the Study of Natural Hazard Impacts and Recovery" has been selected to be featured in the Editor’s Choice section of the Natural Hazards Review by ASCE publishing. This study provides detailed recommendations to support data and simulation capabilities in natural hazards engineering, and it is based on community input from the SimCenter workshop "Simulation and Data Needs to Support Disaster Recovery Planning." The paper was written by Adam Zsarnóczay, Gregory G. Deierlein, Caroline J. Williams, Tracy L. Kijewski-Correa, Ann-Margaret Esnard, Laura N. Lowes, and Laurie Johnson.
