Teaching Gallery - Educational Resources Available

Educational modules that demonstrate how simulation can be used in the classroom are now available in the Teaching Gallery of SimCenter's Knowledge Hub. The Teaching Gallery is a resource for faculty, emerging researchers, and students, and the modules are designed to be incorporated in existing engineering courses.

Modules available are:

  • "What can we learn from Global Sensitivity Analysis" - utilizing the quoFEM application, and
  • "Introduction to FEMA P-58 Seismic Performance Assessment" - utilizing the PBE application.

Each module provides the following information and downloadable resource files:

  • target audience,
  • learning objectives,
  • SimCenter tools involved,
  • example class materials,
  • instructions and guidance for instructors, and
  • SimCenter personnel contact information for guest
  • lectures.
