SimCenterÂ’s New User Forum Released: Connecting with the SimCenter is Even Easier

The NHERI Simcenter has rolled out a new platform for user interaction. It replaces separate Slack channels and separate surveys for tool feature requests. The improved platform is a dedicated user forum providing access to questions, observations, and discussions about all SimCenter tools and their installation, as well as general questions and discussion about educational and research applications of the tools. All posts go directly to the SimCenter development team and are available to the user community.

Benefits to users - in a single, consolidated, and searchable platform, users can:

  • Search for posts and topics of interest
  • Submit a ticket for bug reports
  • Submit requests for features
  • Submit questions about tools
  • Provide feedback about tools

The user forum can be accessed at The SimCenter website now links to dedicated message boards for each tool. For posting privileges, users will need to register and create a new user forum account (please note that user forum accounts are separate from DesignSafe accounts).
