The NHERI SimCenter has been endorsed as an Affiliate organization of QuakeCoRE, New Zealand Centre for Earthquake Resilience. This endorsement was recently confirmed by the Directors and Board of QuakeCoRE. This affiliation is based on the recognition of ongoing collaboration between QuakeCoRE researchers and the SimCenter, with the commitment to further strengthen the relationship. The SimCenter will be listed on QuakeCoREs website and annual report.
Professor Sanjay Govindjee, Principal Investigator and Co-Director of the SimCenter, notes that the SimCenter is excited to be engaged in this international collaboration with QuakeCoREs excellent group of researchers in New Zealand.
